I went to a charity dinner tonight hosted by our Town Mayor, Councillor Mark Freeman. The two charities he is supporting this year are the Junior Fire Fighters and Willen Hospice.
No politics tonight though but the charities will benefit from around £650 raised.

How lucky you get a nice meal whilst "raising money" for charity.
Typical hypocrasy if you ask me (whatever the participants political stripe).
Maybe I should have explained that I and everyone there paid with their own money for the meal.
I believe in being open about what I am doing and anyone could have attended. I simply wanted to let you know the meal took place and two charities benefited.
